Gallery 22 is pleased to present an engaging exhibition featuring the work of Ohio-based illustrators. On view from January 9 through February 28, the exhibit showcases preliminary sketches alongside finished illustrations, offering visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process. Highlighting the art of children’s book illustration, this exhibition provides a unique glimpse into how stories come to life—from initial concept to completed artwork.
Illustrators: Dave Groff, Becky Gehrisch, Tim Bowers, Maria Carluccio, Evangelia Philippidis, Wendy Carrick with sculptures by Jim Hollenbeck.

Gallery 22 is located in downtown Delaware, next to the Strand Theatre and near many restaurants & shops. Gallery 22 is managed by the Delaware Cultural Arts Center, more widely known as The Arts Castle. The Arts Castle is a non-profit organization that nurtures the creative arts in the Delaware area and is recognized as one of Ohio’s premier community teaching centers for the arts.
